What is the Association of Continuing Education Students (ACES)?

The Association is an independent organisation set up in 1988 and through its members it aims to promote the following objectives:

1. To provide support and advice for the activities and programmes of Continuing Education providers

2. To encourage social and educational contacts between students and to foster a common identity between them.

3. To represent the interests and views of all Continuing Education Students and promote these to the local community.

4. Membership is open to all past and present students and tutors of Continuing Education providers, eg. MANCENT, the Lamb Guild, The Workers Education Association, The Wilmslow Guild, The Glossop Guild and History Inc.

ACES organises during the course of the year a number of visits and dayschools.

Students/tutors wishing to join ACES should write to the
